Petrol, diesel price increases; LP gas cylinder price decreases
The price of LP gas cylinder however has reduced to Rs 1,660. As informed, Rs 130 has been reduced for each cylinder.
Kathmandu: The price of petroleum products has increased in Nepal. The state-owned Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the petrol price to Rs 9 per liter and the kerosene and diesel price to Rs 7 per liter. It will come into effect from 12.00 tonight.
NOC said that the price hike decision was made after India increased the price of the supply of petroleum products.
With this, petroleum price costs Rs 170 per liter in Group A, Rs 172 in Group B and Rs 173 in Group C.
Likewise, diesel and kerosene cost Rs 150 per liter in Group A, Rs 152 in Group B and Rs 153 in Group C.
